Update: November 3, 2011 - 5:01PM Our current network issues appear to be resolved. Some users may continue to experience issues related to logging into addthis.com. We are continuing to monitor the situation and will update if there is any more information.

Update: November 2, 2011 - 10:15PM Our vendor has implemented a workaround in the network stack which they think will solve most of the issues for now. We will be monitoring performance overnight and hope to give the all-clear tomorrow morning.

Update: November 2, 2011 - 5:10PM As you may be aware AddThis backend services have been experiencing intermittent connectivity issues throughout the day. This includes our various backend APIs, our analytics console and tools, and share counters. About ten percent of total requests have been experiencing problems; you may have noticed no issues at all.

We have been working with the connectivity providers for our datacenters and they have transitioned to new equipment that appears to have significantly reduced the issues. We are continuing to monitor and work closely with our providers and will update as more definitive resolution is available.

Our network provider is experiencing connectivity issues that affect our data centers. They're working to resolve ASAP. Not everyone is affected; you may notice nothing occasional delays or problems in sharing and share counters.
